At the tender age of 14 and driven by personal circumstances, Germán Fernández embarked on an immersive journey into textile production. For nearly three years, he explored every aspect of clothes manufacturing, from cutting and design to the complexities of industrial production, all while enriching his hands-on experience with continuous training in various fashion workshops and seminars.

His quest for excellence led him to master fine tailoring under the guidance of a teacher who introduced him to the rich tradition of the Italian tailoring, solidifying his skills in the art of garment making.

With over four decades in the fashion industry, he has gathered remarkable expertise as a designer and producer for various brands, while leading his own company. His artistic talents also evolved in the theatrical domain, where he created stage costumes for different artistic productions.

Inspired by a deep passion for fashion and art history, he has recently achieved a personal artistic ambition: replicating masterpieces of painting only with fabric, threads, and scissors, without any glue. This innovative approach led to the creation of “Telarte,” an original technique celebrated for its complexity and meticulousness. His work stands as a testament to dedication and an inspiration that redefines the boundaries between fashion, art, and creativity.
